We at Prince of Peace
like to commit our time to various non-profit organizations. Ranging
from food banks, to senior citizens' homes, to Lutheran organizations,
and disease-related organizations, our members willingly donate their
efforts and participation to further causes they believe in.

The files are available as Postscript and as Adobe Acrobat
files. Of particular interest to contract employees who want
to work on a 1099 is form SS8, which lists the factors that
the IRS uses to distinguish an "independent
contractor" from an employee. Publication 937 also
contains useful information on this topic, though it is
aimed at the employer rather than the employee.
